The winners of the Denton County Environmental Advisory Board , Best Tree of Denton County 2007 were presented their awards on April 20, 2007 during an Earth Day assembly. The Denton County Recycling and The Keep Denton Beautiful programs were both on hand giving the students demonstrations.
Denton ISD was presented an award for Most Students Participating by Elaine Smith-Poyourow, of the Denton County Environmental Advisory Board , as were the top four Best Trees in Denton County Winners, Anna, Chris, Alexia and Cassidi.
