Narcissa Jane Denton, the third child of John B. and Mary Greenlee Denton, was born on September 23, 1830 in Clark County, Arkansas.  She married F.M. Brown on April 18, 1855 in Hopkins County, Texas.  Her husband’s name is also listed as Richard and Erwin in records.  They had at least two children, a son T. S. and a daughter Maggie.  Narcissa Denton Brown died on September 17, 1879 in Grayson County.  She is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
