In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court may impose a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court. Please address all comments to the Presiding Officer.

G) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100280 to increase grant revenues at $80,000 and transfer $121,849 from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Grant Contingency to Salary, Assistants/Benefits and various operating line items for Criminal District Attorney-Family Violence Expansion Grant in the amount of $201,849, and any appropriate action. H) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100300 for Computer Software and Computer Supplies including the transfer of funds from JP Technology Fund Unappropriated Contingency for a total of $3,028; and any appropriate action. Budget

I) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. J) Approval of Building Use Request from Lee Keith for the use of the Courtroom, Conference Room and the 1896 Room on Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for an American Legion Oratorical Contest, and any appropriate action. Aide-to-the-Court

K) Approval to schedule a Public Hearing for November 27, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. for the adoption of a Resolution and Order for the Denton County Central Appraisal District to tax tangible personal property in transit which would otherwise be exempt, effective January 1, 2008, pursuant to Texas Tax Code, Section 11.253, and any appropriate action. A) Approval of Bill Report.
(Payments from CSCD, Community Corrections, TAIP, Sheriff’s Training, Sheriff’s Forfeiture, VIT Interest, DA Check Fee, and DA Forfeiture Funds are presented for recording purposes only.)

B) Approval of an Order finding that (1) excess funds in the amount of $369,551 from interest earnings are available, in the 2005 Road Bond Fund; (2) the excess funds are not needed to fund any of the projects originally listed in the bond documentation; and (3) that excess funds in the amount of $369,551 are to be allocated to the ITS transportation enhancement contract for the 2008 fiscal year.

A) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100290 to increase grant revenues at $40,000 and transfer $140,240 from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Grant Contingency to Salary, Assistants/Benefits and various operating line items for Criminal District Attorney-Prosecution Enhancement Grant in the amount of $180,240; and any appropriate action.

14. LEGAL

A) Approval of a Letter of Agreement between CoServ Electric and Denton County, Texas, for traffic signal at the intersection of FM 423 and Del Webb Boulevard, located in the City of Frisco and Commissioner Precinct #1, at a cost of $34,635.35, with funding to come from Commissioner Precinct 2 TRIP-04 Funds, and any appropriate action. B) Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreements for Juvenile Pre-Adjudication and Post-Adjudication Facility between Denton County and (1) Palo Pinto County, (2) Parker County, and (3) Hopkins County, and any appropriate action.
