In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court may impose a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court. Please address all comments to the Presiding Officer.

A) Approval of a Proclamation declaring the month of November, 2007, as Home Care and Hospice Month in Denton County, and any appropriate action. County Judge

B) Approval of a proclamation proclaiming November 2007 as a month of celebration for the Love Chapel Church of God in Christ as they celebrate their 75th year celebration, and any appropriate action. Commissioner Precinct #3

B) Approve the Denton County Quarterly Investment Report for the Period Ending 9/30/2007, and any appropriate action.

6. PURCHASING

* A) Approval of specifications and authority to advertise for RFP #10-07-1860 for Collection of Delinquent Court Fines; appointment of Evaluation Committee to include Cynthia Mitchell, County Clerk, Sherri Adelstein, District Clerk, Beck Kerbow, Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, James Wells, County Auditor, Beth Fleming, Director of Purchasing, Bruce Schneider, Collection Manager and Jennifer McClure, Assistant District Attorney; and any appropriate action.

* B) Approval of specifications and authority to advertise for ATM Services for the Mary & Jim Horn Government Center, RFP #11-06-1802, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Intra-Departmental Transfers, and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100240 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Ammunition and Operating Supplies for Criminal District Attorney and Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $719, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)

B) Approve the Qualified Replacement Benefit Arrangement and Adoption Agreement with Texas County and District Retirement System (TCDRS), and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of Change Order #4 to the Agreement for Construction between Denton County, Texas, and J.C. Commercial, Inc., extending the construction deadline twenty-two (22) days due to rain delay on the Steven Everett Copeland Government Center, Precinct One.

C) Approval of Change Order #5 to the Agreement for Construction between Denton County, Texas, and J.C. Commercial, Inc., for additional fire protection to the Steven Everett Copeland Government Center, Precinct One.

D) Approval to renew the service agreement for Broadband Satellite Connection between Denton County, Texas and TracStar Systems, Inc., and any appropriate action.

E) Approval of the 2007-2008 Social Service Agreement between Denton County and Family Health Care, Inc., and any appropriate action.
