In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court may impose a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court. Please address all comments to the Presiding Officer.

* A) Approval of report on records from Surplus On-Line Auction #08-07-1854 held in September, 2007, and any appropriate action.
* B) Approval to declare miscellaneous Road & Bridge-West equipment, Sheriff’s forfeiture/abandoned property and portable building as surplus; to place items in On-Line Auction #09-07-1855 to be held October 2007; advertise; and any appropriate action.
* C) Approval of renewal for Voluntary Benefits, RFP #09-05-1728, to Colonial Supplemental Insurance for (A) Accident Insurance; (B) Short Term Disability; (C) Cancer Expense Protection; (D) Intensive Care Insurance; and (E) Hospital Confinement Insurance; and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Intra-Departmental Transfers, and any appropriate action.
B) Approval of request to utilize interest earnings from the 2005 Certificates of Obligation Fund for various projects reviewed during the 2007-2008 budget process, and any appropriate action.
C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100120 for Computer Maintenance including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Regular Contingency for Elections Administration in the amount of $10,334, and any appropriate action.
* D) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100130 for Repairs and Maintenance including the transfer of funds from Capital Replacement Fund Unappropriated Contingency in the amount of $362,900, and any appropriate action.
E) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100140 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items including the creation of a new line item for grant purposes for FY 2007-2008 for Criminal District Attorney in the amount of $9,320, and any appropriate action.
F) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100150 for Computer Software for County-Wide Technology in the amount of $693, and any appropriate action.
G) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100160 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items including the creation of a new line item for Grant purposes for FY2007-2008 for 2006 Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $146,720, and any appropriate action.
H) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100170 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Salary, Assistants/Benefits for Juvenile Case Manager in the amount of $6,880, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)
B) Approve reclassification of Juvenile Case Manager job description (slot #001-JU) from pay grade 19 to pay grade 21, and any appropriate action.
C) Approve change of job title and job description for slot 002-S4 from Deputy Constable pay grade 22, to Sergeant pay grade 22, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approve Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 9:05 a.m. as the date and time to conduct a Public hearing to consider and approve the Replat of Savannah, Phase 3, Tracts 2A & 2B, Precinct #1, and any appropriate action.
* B) Approve Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 9:10 a.m. as the date and time to conduct a Public Hearing to consider and approve the Replat of Savannah, Phase 1, Lots 9 thru 16 & Lot 18, Block 2, Precinct #1, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Building Use Request from the Denton County Democratic Party to use the Commissioners Courtroom for their monthly meeting every 2nd Thursday from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, beginning November 2007, and any appropriate action. Aide of the Court
* B) Approval of Building Use Request for the Courthouse Lawn from A.C.T. Home Health on Saturday December 15, 2007 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm for the purpose of “Classic Christmas on the Square” for doctors, nurses, and their children, and any appropriate action. Aide to the Court
C) Approval of a resolution authorizing the execution of a Deed Without Warranty to C.J. Smith for the purchase price of $2000.00 on the following property: .875 acre out of Abstract 29 of the R. Bebee Survey, Tract 161, Old DCAD Sheet 4, City of Sanger, Denton County, Texas, being that property more particularly described in Volume 455, Page 532 of the Deed Records, Denton County, Texas, as referenced in Cause No. 2004-1066-362, County of Denton vs. Paul Henderson, et al, and any appropriate action. D) Approve the creation of a juvenile case manager fee of $3.00 authorized by Article 102.0174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure effective 11-01-07 and also authorize the judge or justice to waive the fee required by Subsection (b) or (c) in a case of financial hardship, and any appropriate action.
