* A) Approval of Intra-Departmental Transfers, and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100100 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Overtime-Tobacco Compliance Grant/Benefits for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $12,000, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100110 for Lawsuit Settlements including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Lawsuit Settlement Contingency in the amount of $47,000, and any appropriate action.

D) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #102220 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Operating Equipment for 2004 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant in the amount of $272,072, and any appropriate action.

E) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #102230 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Radios and Radars for 2006 Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $81,307, and any appropriate action.

8. HUMAN RESOURCES

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)

9. HEALTH

A) Approval of a new WIC Contract for FY2008 with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of a contract with DSHS (Department of State Health Services) for Tuberculosis Services, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval to temporarily instruct the Development Support Committee to suspend consideration of variance request, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of scheduling a Public Hearing for October 16, 2007 at 9:15 a.m. to discuss revisions to the Denton County On-Site Sewage Facility Order, and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of the 2007-2008 Social Service Agreements between Denton County and (a) Interfaith Ministries of Denton, Inc., and (b) The ARC of Denton County, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval of the Lease Agreement between Denton County and the Joe Skiles Trust to provide office space for the Texas Department of Public Safety in Sanger, Texas, and any appropriate action.

D) Approval of Supplement Agreement #1 to the Interlocal Cooperative Agreement, dated February 1, 2007, between Denton County, Texas, and the City of Coppell, Texas, regarding the SH 121 SIB Loan. Supplement Agreement #1 provides for reimbursement of $1,200,000.00 to the City of Coppell, pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding, executed March 24, 2005, whereby Denton County agreed to refund the City of Coppell’s State Infrastructure Bank Loan expenditures upon reimbursement to Denton County by the Texas Department of Transportation, located in Commissioner Precinct #3, and any appropriate action.

E) Approval of Library Service Agreement between Denton County, Texas and the Betty Foster Public Library (City of Ponder), and any appropriate action.

15. EXECUTIVE SESSION

A) Texas Government Code Section 551.072 – Deliberation Regarding Real Property; Closed meeting to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property where deliberation in an open meeting would have a detrimental effect on the position of the governmental body in negotiations with a third person regarding potential purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property for county facilities in Denton County Commissioner Precinct #1.
