In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court may impose a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court. Please address all comments to the Presiding Officer.

* B) Approval of exemption from bidding for professional services with Ron Tomlinson Public Health Consultant, as a professional consultant, according to the provisions of Section 262.024 (a) (4) of the Local Government Code, and any appropriate action. (Briefing 1-30-07)

* C) Approval of renewal of contract for Exterior Lighting Maintenance Agreement, Bid #02-05-1662, to Design Electric, and any appropriate action. (Briefing 1-30-07)

* D) Approval of award of bid for the FM-407-Rayzor Road to Lantana Trail Project, Bid #11-06-1804, to Ed Bell Construction for $5,642,035.80, from the Pct. 4 TRIP-04 projects: SH114 $3,500,000, Loop 288 West $1,750,000, Pct. 4 Discretionary fund $750,000, plus FM407 Project $2,000,000, and any appropriate action. B) Approval of changes to the job descriptions for the Correction Facility Technician I, Correction Facility Technician III in Law Enforcement Facilities; Detention Officer I, Administrator to Detention Chief, Detention Inmate Programs Computer Manager in the County Jail, Technical Services Technician, Radio/Electronics Technician in the Sheriff’s Office; Detention Officer III-Dental, D.O.I Administrative Assistant in Jail Health; Recycling Supervisor/Detention Officer, Maintenance Specialist I/D.O.I Groundskeeper in Facilities Management; Detention Officer I/Records Clerk, Records Production Supervisor/Detention Officer in Records Management; D.O.I/Administrative Technician, Mechanic/Detention Officer in Fleet Vehicle Maintenance, and any appropriate action. * D) Approval of Building Use Request from the Democratic Party to use the Commissioners Court Room on the second Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. beginning in March of 2007 thru February 2008 and the third Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for the month of February 2007. E) Approval of the re-appointment of Mr. Mark A. Burroughs to the Lake Ray Roberts Planning and Zoning Commission, and any appropriate action. County Judge

A) Any appropriate action on Executive Session matters - Legal Department.

B) Approval of the Social Services Agreement between Denton County and Ann’s Haven Hospice, VNA, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval of District Office Lease Agreement between Denton County, Texas and the Committee on Housing Administration of the House of Representatives of the State of Texas for the benefit of Burt R. Solomons, a Member of the House of Representatives of the State of Texas, and any appropriate action.

D) Approval of (1) the Contract for Purchase of Right-of-Way between Denton County and Wayne L. Yarbrough for the purchase of real property, Parcels 1 and 36 for the FM 1171 Project; (2) grant authorization to proceed with the closing and approval of the County Judge to sign all necessary closing documents to purchase the Right-of-Way from Wayne L. Yarbrough; and (3) direction to the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the amount of the purchase price, plus any fees, for the purchase of the real property from Wayne L. Yarbrough with funding to come from the FM 1171 Project, Auditor #63-7360-90-10, Commissioner Precinct #3, and any appropriate action.

The Commissioners Court reserves the right to exercise its discretion and may convene in executive session as authorized by the Texas Government Code §551.071, et seq. on any of the agenda items.
