* C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100240 for Attorney Fees/Denton-Tarrant County Line including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Lawsuit Settlement Contingency and Outside Counsel Contingency for Non-Departmental in the amount of $134,009.00, and any appropriate action. D) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100290 for Operating Supplies for 2005 Homeland Security Grant in the amount of $9,400.00 and any appropriate action.

14. LEGAL

A) Any appropriate action on Executive Session matters - Legal Department.

B) Approval of: an order setting a date and time to conduct a Public Hearing to consider the placement of a 3 way stop sign at the intersection of Friendship Road and Cole Road, to be held on December 19, 2006, at 9:00 a.m., before the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Precinct 1, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval of Supplemental Agreement #4, to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and Carter and Burgess, Inc. for additional funding in the amount of $35,000.00, for a total contract amount of $686,400.00, for the Lebanon/Boyd Road Project and any appropriate action.

D) Approval of: (1) the Contract for Purchase of Right-of-Way between Denton County and the John Alexander Gillin Trust for the purchase of property for the FM 1171 Project; (2) grant authorization to proceed with the closing and approval for the County Judge to sign all necessary closing documents to purchase the Right-of-Way from John Alexander Gillin Trust and (3) direction to the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the amount of the purchase price, plus any fees, for the purchase of the property from the John Alexander Gillin Trust with funding to come from the FM 1171 Project, Auditor #63-7360-90-10, Commissioner Precinct #3, and any appropriate action.

E) Approval of Supplemental Agreement #2 to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and Halff Associates, Inc., for additional funding in the amount of $25,363.00, for a total contract amount of #1,312,254.00, for the FM 2499, Section 3, Project, and any appropriate action.

F) Approval of Tarrant-Parker-Denton County Medical Examiner’s District Agreement for the 2006-2007 Fiscal year and any appropriate action.

G) Approval of Planned Maintenance Agreement between Cummins Southern Plains and Denton County, Texas, acting on behalf of the Denton County Sheriff’s Department and any appropriate action.

H) Approval of Supplemental Agreement #2 to the Contract between Denton County, Texas and Halff Associates, Inc., for additional funding in the amount of $15,172.00, for a total contract amount of $167,898.00, for the SH 114 from the Wise County line to SH 156 – Rural Project, Commissioner Precinct 4, and any appropriate action.

I) Approval of Supplemental Agreement #2 to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and Halff Associates, Inc., for additional funding in the amount of $15,172.00, for a total contract amount of $203,825.00, for the SH 114 from SH 156 East to IH 35W – Urban Section Project, Commissioner Precinct #4, and any appropriate action.

J) Approval of the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and Jagoe-Public Company in the amount of $122,215.00, for the Wildcat Road Paving Improvement Project Bid Number 08-06-1794, with the funds to come from Commissioner Precinct 1, TRIP-04 Discretionary Funds, and any appropriate action.

K) Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Ambulance Services between Denton County, Texas and a) the Town of Trophy Club and b) Lake Cities and any appropriate action.

L) Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Fire Protection Services between Denton County, Texas and a) the Town of Double Oak and b) Lake Dallas and any appropriate action.

The Commissioners Court reserves the right to exercise its discretion and may convene in executive session as authorized by the Texas Government Code §551.071, et seq. on any of the agenda items.
