1. AUDITOR

A) Discussion of finding that (1) excess funds in the amounts of $368,400 and $3,400 from interest earnings are available in the 2005 Road Bond Project and 2000 Road Bond Project Funds, respectively, (2) the excess funds are not needed to fund any of the projects originally listed in the bond documentation; and (3) that excess funds in the amount of $371,800 are to be allocated to the ITS transportation enhancement contract for fiscal year.

2. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of award of bid for Tensar Geogrid BX1200, Bid #09-06-1797.

B) Discussion of the change of name of the Alternative Fuels Committee to the Energy Efficiency and Emission Reduction Committee and discuss committee appointments as recommended.

C) Discussion of Change Order #1 to bid for Diesel, Bid #09-04-1636, with Martin Eagle Oil Company, to allow for purchase of a biodiesel blend.

D) Discussion of award of Detention Supplies, Bid #07-06-1783, to Bob Baker Company for Item #2, 3 & 5; Robinson Textiles for Item #4; and reject all bids for Item #1.

E) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Fiber Optics Construction, RFP #10-06-1798.

F) Discussion of exemption from bidding for a Sole Source Purchase for Jury+Software, according to the provisions of Section 262.024 (a)(7)(A) of the Local Government Code, and discussion of lease-purchase financing through JP Morgan Chase & Co.

G) Discussion of evaluation committee recommendation for the ranking of Dannenbaum Engineering Corporation as the most qualified engineering firm for the Duck Creek Road Drainage and Paving Improvement project, RFQ, 02-05-1669, County Road Reconstruction and Paving Rehabilitation.

3. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100160 for Office Supplies including the transfer of funds from Vehicle Inventory Tax Interest Unappropriated Contingency for Vehicle Inventory Tax Interest in the amount of $7,629.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100170 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for
Overtime-OCD Task Force/benefits for Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $60,000.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100180 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Overtime-TX Traffic Safety for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $15,000.

D) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100200 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Salary, Assistants/benefits and various other line items for Denton County Freshwater Contract in the amount of $142,658.
