1. AUDITOR

A) Discussion of the Proposed Debt Management Policy for Denton County.

2. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Flexible Base (Grade 1, Type A), Bid #03-06-1745.

3. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100860 for Computers for County-Wide Technology in the amount of $3,654.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100870 for Interns/benefits for Criminal District Attorney in the amount of $6,752.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100880 for Contract Labor for Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1 in the amount of $8,800.

4. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of changes to the job description for the Juvenile Prosecutor I in the District Attorney’s Office.

5. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

6. SHERIFF
A) Discussion of the Juvenile Accountability Grant Application and discussion of resolution, submitted by Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities

C) Discussion of the juror pay donation list and possible organizations to be added in the future and any possible modifications to the jury pay donation process.-District Clerk

D) Discussion of the request from Habitat for Humanity of Denton County to be included on the juror pay donation list.-District Clerk

8. LEGAL

A) Discussion to authorize Capt. Jeff Wawro to execute the Memorandum of Agreement between The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Denton County Sheriff’s Office.

B) Discussion of Lease for the operation and maintenance of a radio tower at Grapevine Lake between Denton County and the Department of the Army, Corp of Engineers.

C) Discussion of request from the Denton County Farmers market Association to use the Denton County parking lot on the corner of Sycamore Street and Carroll Boulevard in Denton for the purpose of marketing produce from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from April 1, 2006 through October 31, 2006.

D) Discussion of a Quitclaim Deed from Denton County, Texas, to The State of Texas for 310.483 square meters [3,342 square feet] of land, more or less, in the Henry Turner Survey, Abstract Number 1248 City of Lewisville, Denton County, Texas, located in Denton County Commissioner Precinct 3.

E) Discussion of the Group Agreement between Denton County , as a member of the Public Employee Benefits Cooperative of North Texas (PEBC) and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, A Division of Health Care Service Corporation.

F) Discussion of Amendment #2 to the Local Transportation Project Funding Agreement for FM 3040 from FM 2499 to Edmonds Lane in Denton County, Texas, located in Denton County Commissioner Precinct 3.

G) Discussion of a) Addendum #1 to the Engineering Contract between Halff & Associates, Inc., and Denton County, Texas, for the FM 2499, Section 3, Project, in the amount of $164,852.00, with funding to come from Better, Safer Roads Program (BSRP) funds for FM 2499-Section 3 (Audition #63-7370-10), Precinct 3 and b) authorization the transfer of $66,434.93 from FM 2499, Section 4, Auditor #70-7469-90-30 to FM 2499 Section 3 Auditor #63-7370-90-10.
