1. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100320 for Repairs and Maintenance including the transfer of funds from District Clerk Records Management-Unappropriated Contingency to Denton County Courts Building in the amount of $650.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100330 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Salary, Assistants/benefits and various other line items for Crisis Counseling Services Grant in the amount of $174,792.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100340 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items for Criminal District Attorney and County-Wide Technology in the amount of $6,526.

2. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of a revision to the effective date for the new Administrative Manager position in the Civil District Attorney’s office.

B) Discussion of changing the Epidemiologist Position (slot #008-BI) from a full-time to a part-time position.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

4. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities

C) Discussion of the drawing of names from the 2005 Grand Jury to serve on the Denton County Salary Grievance Committee.-Aide to the Court

D) Discussion of MOU and grant funding in the amount of $900 from the Denton Benefit League, funding will be used to purchase a TV/DVD/VCR Combination, TV Cart, and Substance Abuse videos.-Juvenile Probation
4. OTHER DEPARTMENTS-Continued
E) Discussion of acceptance of MOU and grant funding in the amount of $6,300 from the Denton Benefit League, funding will be used for equine therapy for residents in the post adjudication program.

5. LEGAL

A) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the Town of Marshall Creek for implementation of Texas Local Government Code Section 242.001, relative to the Town’s ETJ, located in Precinct 4.

B) Discussion of Texas Attorney General Opinion #GA-0387 (2005) holding that Government Code section 51.961 (g), which requires one-half of the family protection fee collected in divorce suits to be deposited in the child abuse and neglect prevention trust account to be unconstitutional and violating the open court provisions of the Texas Constitution article 1, section 13, concerning the family protection fee.
