A) Discussion of award for Voluntary Benefits, RFP #09-05-1728, to Colonial Supplemental Insurance for a. Accident Insurance; b. Short Term Disability; c. Cancer Expense Protection; d. Intensive Care Insurance; and e. Hospital Confinement Insurance.

B) Discussion of the use of excess FY2003 Tax Notes to purchase mobile file system for the Tax Office and security fence for the generator at the 1505 E. McKinney Street Government Center at a cost of $15,445.29.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100300 for Operating Equipment for County Jail in the amount of $12,346.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100310 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $15, 112.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities

C) Discussion of Building Usage Request from Girl Scout Troop #452 for use of the Carrollton Government Center Community Room on 1/19, 1/23, 2/13, 3/20, 4/10, 4/24, 5/8, and 5/22, 2006 for the purpose of Brownie Meetings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.-Aide to the Court.

5. LEGAL

A) Discussion of a) road and utility improvements to Harlington Drive, (“Project”) and b) the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the City of Highland Village and Denton County, Texas, for the road and utility improvements to Harlington Drive, located in Precinct 3.

B) Discussion of the Chapter 381 Tax Rebate Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and Stryker Corporation, a California Corporation which desires to lease property owned by Granite Properties, Inc., located in Flower Mount, Texas, Precinct 3.

C) Discussion of the Contract for Purchase between Denton County and Pecan Park Estates Homeowners Association, for the purchase of property Parcel 28E for the FM 1171 Project, 2) authorization to proceed with the closing and approval for the County Judge to sign all necessary closing documents to purchase Pecan Park Estates Homeowners Association, for the purchase of property Parcel 28E for the FM 117 Project and 3) direction to the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the amount of the purchase price plus fees for the purchase of this Property with funding to come from the FM 1171, Auditor #63-7360-90-10.

D) Discussion of 1) the Real Estate Contract between Denton County and Chuck Cloud for the purchase of property for the Lake Lewisville Corridor Project, 2) authorization to proceed with the closing and approval for the County Judge to sign all necessary closing documents to purchase the property from Chuck Cloud and 3) direction to the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the amount of the purchase price plus any fees for the purchase of the Chuck Cloud Property, with funding to come from the Lake Lewisville Toll Bridge Corridor, Auditor #7401.

E) Discussion of the proposed amendment to participating provider agreement with AMERIGROUP Texas, Inc. , a Medicaid HMO and Denton County, Texas, acting on behalf of the Denton County Health Department.

F) Discussion of amendments to the Denton County Tax Abatement Policy.

G) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Ambulance Services between Denton County, Texas and the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department.

H) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Fire Protection Services between Denton County, Texas and the Argyle Volunteer Fire Department.
