1. AUDITOR
A) Discussion of order finding that (1) excess funds in the amount of $369,000 from interest earnings are available in the 2000 Road Bond Project Fund and the 1992 Road Bond Project Fund; (2) the excess funds are not needed to fund any of the projects originally listed in the bond documentation; and (3) that excess funds in the amount of $369,000 are to be allocated to the ITS transportation enhancement contract for fiscal year.
2. PURCHASING
A) Discussion of exemption from the bidding process for the Sole Source purchase of Vaccines from Sanofi Pasteur in compliance with Section 262.024(a)(7)(A) of the Local Government Code.
B) Discussion of selecting Alexander Utility Engineering, Inc. as the most qualified for Fiber Optic Network Engineering Services, authority to negotiate a contract.
C) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Lebanon Road Improvements, Bid #09-05-1722.
D) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Mobile Microwave Antenna System, Bid #10-05-1730.
E) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Microwave Radio System, RFP #10-05-1731, appointment of Evaluation Committee to include Beth Fleming; Jody Gonzales; Alan Williams; Mark Payne, Denco 911; and Hugh Coleman as a non-voting member.
F) Discussion of the use of excess FY 2003 Tax Notes to purchase interior and exterior signs and fund the preparation and move of electronic equipment to 1505 E. McKinney Street building at a budgetary cost of $11,100.
3. BUDGET
A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100050 for Office Rental including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Regular Contingency for CPS Facility and Fire Marshal Facility in the amount of $10,580.
B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100060 for Dues & Subscriptions including the transfer of funds for Non-Departmental Unappropriated Regular Contingency for Commissioners Court in the amount of $5,000.
C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100070 for Mediation Services including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Regular Contingency for Judiciary and Court Support in the amount of $9,000.
4. PUBLIC WORKS
A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.
5. OTHER DEPARTMENTS
A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.
B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities
C) Discussion of potential change orders 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 for the Fire Marshal’s facility at 9060 Teasley Lane for a total addition of $38,787.73.-Facilities
