1. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Denton County Fire Marshal’s Office and Denton County Storage Facility Renovation, Bid #04-05-1684.

B) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for the Bonnie Brae Road Reconstruction Project, Bid # 05-05-1686.

C) Discussion of rejection of bids for Flexible Base (Grade I, Type A), Bid #02-05-1670.

D) Discussion to declare miscellaneous vehicles, computer/printer equipment, appliances, miscellaneous radio/radar equipment and miscellaneous furniture/office equipment as surplus, to place items in On-line Auction #04-05-1678 to be held in May, 2005, advertise.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100920 for Litigation Expense including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Lawsuit Settlement Contingency for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $35,000.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100900 to increase revenues and allocate State Training Fees for Criminal District Attorney, Constable Precincts 1-6, and Emergency Management in the amount of $9,900.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100910 for MHMR including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental-Out of County Prisoner Contingency for Health Care Relief Fund in the amount of $80,000.

3. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of the creation of a new Technical Operations Manager position and a new Election Inventory Coordinator position in the Elections Department.

B) Discussion of the deletion of Personnel Policy #1.2A-Open Records Access Request Policy.

C) Discussion of the job description and ranking for a Clinical Care Attendant in Jail Health.

4. HEALTH

A) Discussion of request to renew Immunization Contract for FY 2006 with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).

5. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.
