Be it remembered, Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas was called to order on the 17th day of March, 2005, at 3:30p.m. in Commissioners Courtroom, 2nd Floor, Courthouse on the Square, Denton, Texas by Denton County Judge Mary Horn. Commissioners Jim Carter and Bobbie J. Mitchell were present, along with County Clerk Cynthia Mitchell’s representative, Senior Administrator to Commissioners Court, Erin McCorkle.
ITEM 1 PURCHASING
1. A) Approval of award of bid for Boiler Replacement at Denton County Law Enforcement Center, Bid# 02-05-1663, to Maxim Mechanical, for $29,970.00, and any appropriate action and authorizing the County Judge to execute contract included in bid specifications, after Maxim Mechanical fully executes the same.
Move to approve as amended to give Purchasing the authority to issue a purchase order for the weekly rental for a mobile steam unit. Budget amendment will be processed once all costs are known to cover the additional unanticipated expenses for approximately $8,000.00 for rental hookup and freight by Comm. Mitchell, seconded by Judge Horn.
