NOTICE OF EMERGENCY PUBLIC MEETING

There exists an emergency or an urgent public necessity requiring immediate action of the Denton County Commissioners Court because of (1) an imminent threat to public health and safety; or 2) a reasonably unforeseeable situation. The necessity arises by reason of the unanticipated and unforeseen failure of a second boiler in the jail requiring emergency repair and replacement which will also require movement of numerous prisoners in the jail. This situation requires immediate approval of the item below.

1. PURCHASING

A) Approval of award of bid for Boiler Replacement at Denton County Law Enforcement Center, Bid# 02-05-1663, to Maxim Mechanical, for $29,970.00, and any appropriate action and authorizing the County Judge to execute contract included in bid specifications, after Maxim Mechanical fully executes the same.
