1. BUDGET

A) Discussion of the Property Tax Collection Fee Analysis Report, setting the fee for the 2005 contract period and establishing a method of reviewing the fee for future contracts.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100530 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items and the creation of new line items for Grant purposes for FY 2004-2005 for 2004 Urban Area Security Initiative II Grant in the amount of $74,186.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100520 to reduce revenues and expenditures for Shady Shores Law Enforcement Contract in the amount of $73,908.

D) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100540 for various line items including the transfer of funds from JP Technology-Unappropriated Contingency for JP Technology in the amount of $2,323.

2. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of combing three job descriptions (Deputy Clerk-Motor Vehicle, Deputy Clerk-Ad Valorem and Deputy Clerk-Mail) into one job description for Deputy Clerks Tax Office.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

B) Discussion of the road closures and designation of detours for the purposes of removing existing bridges and the construction of new at the following locations: 1. Blair Road @ Hog Branch 2. Old Stoney Road @ Denton creek 3. Rector Road @ Clear Creek. –Engineering.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities

C) Discussion of Building Usage Request from the FEMA Awards Committee for use of the Selby House/Freeman Parking Lot on March 29, 2005 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm for parking while attending meeting at Campus Theatre.-Aide to the Court

D) Discussion of Building Usage Request from Denton County Farmers Market for use of the Parking lot at Carroll Blvd. and Sycamore St. everyday beginning April 1 thru October 31, 2005, from 7 am to 6 pm.-Ag Extension.

5. LEGAL

A) Discussion of the Contract Agreement between Denton County, Texas and Calvert Paving Corporation for Bid #11-04-1642, in the amount of $229,581.00, for the Copper Canyon Road Construction Project.

B) Discussion of TX DOT change order #7, for the HWY 377 Business Improvements at Pilot Point High School.

C) Discussion of the Standard Form of Agreement for Services between Denton County, Texas and Harrison Quality Construction for the Denton County Government Center renovation.

D) Discussion of the Group Contract between Denton County, Texas, as a participant with the Public Employees Benefits Cooperative of North Texas (PEBC) and Prudential Financial for Long Term Care.
