1. AUDITOR

A) Discussion of the Order finding: that (1) excess funds in the amount of $369,375 from interest earnings are available in the 2000 Road Bond Project Fund; (2) the excess funds are not needed to fund any of the projects originally listed in the bond documentation; and (3) that excess funds in the amount of $369,375 are to be allocated to the ITS transportation enhancement contract for fiscal year.

2. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of purchase of the Mobile Command Vehicle through a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the BuyBoard.

B) Discussion of a report on proceeds from On-Line Auction Sale #07-04-1629 held Sept. 9-23, 2004.

C) Discussion of specifications and the authority to advertise for Printing, Bid #08-04-1633.

D) Discussion to declare a Gemini Auto Lift surplus and use as a trade-in toward the purchase of a GP09A Two Post Auto Lift for Vehicle Maintenance.

E) Discussion of specifications and the authority to advertise for Records Archiving Re-Creation Project for the County Clerk, RFP #04-04-1616, appoint an Elevation Committee.

3. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100070 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Overtime-Tobacco Compliance/benefits for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $10,000.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100080 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Economic Development Projects for Economic Development in the amount of $1,000.

4. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of changing slot #003-TJ in the TJPC/State Aid budget from a part-time Office Support Specialist position to a part-time Assistant Juvenile Probation Officer position.

B) Discussion of combing 2 part-time Assistant Juvenile Probation Officer slots (008-JC and 010-JC) in the Juvenile Community Corrections Grant into 1 full-time Assistant Probation Officer position.

5. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

6. SHERIFF

A) Discussion from Sheriff Lucas to Accept Grant funding awarded to Denton County Sheriff’s Office from the Office of the Governor-Criminal Justice Division to fund the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant “Juvenile Impact Program” and approve resolution.

7. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities Department

C) Discussion of an on-going Emergency Management Performance Grant application.-Fire Marshal/Emergency Management Coordinator.

A) Discussion regarding supporting the tolling of SH 121, and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) SH 121 Funding Strategy supporting the tolling of SH 121, and authorization for the County Judge to execute the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for SH 121 Funding Strategy supporting the tolling of SH on behalf of Denton County, Texas.

B) Discussion of the Award of Grant Funding from the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor’s Office for continuation funding from the Violence Against Women Act for the Criminal District Attorney’s VAWA-Civil Domestic Violence Prosecution Grant (C-DVP).

C) Discussion of the Award of Grant Funding from the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor’s Office for continuation funding from the Violence Against Women Act for the Criminal District Attorney’s Prosecution Enhancement Grant (VAWA-FVP-Enhancement).
