* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)

C) Approval of revision to the Salary Administration Guidelines to allow all of the Elected Officials and Department Heads to utilize employee attritions to hire new employees early and any appropriate action.

D) Approve the creation of 3 new Deputy Clerk positions in the Tax Office, effective September 1, 2004, and any appropriate action.

B) Approval of the Project for reconstruction of McMakin Road and improvements on Broome Road in the Town of Bartonville and the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the Town of Bartonville for reconstruction of McMakin Road, and any appropriate action. C) Approval of Public Employee Benefits Cooperative (PEBC) contracts including: 1) FlexBen Amendment, 2) MHN Amendment, 3) Safeguard Agreement, and 4) NCTCOG Interlocal, and any appropriate action. (Formal 8-10-04)

D) Approval of the Addendum to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the City of Fort worth regarding plat approval of the City’s ETJ, and any appropriate action.

E) Approval of the Contract Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and Ashlar Contracting Company, Bid # 06-04-1623, in the amount of $271,099.00, for Bonnie Brae Bridge Replacement, and any appropriate action.

F) Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the Denton Central Appraisal District for collection of penalties on late renditions of personal property, and any appropriate action.

G) Approval of the Public employee Benefits Cooperative of North Texas Interlocal Agreement (Bylaws) by and among the Counties of Dallas, Denton, Tarrant, and the North Texas Tollway Authority, and any appropriate action.

The Commissioners Court reserves the right to exercise its discretion and may convene in executive session as authorized by the Texas Government Code §§551.071, et seq. on any of the agenda items.
