2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101750 for Court Appointed Attorney including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Workers Comp Contingency for 211th District Court in the amount of $45,000.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101760 for Statements of Fact including the transfer of $1,000 from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Workers Comp Contingency for 211th District Court for a total amendment of $5,015.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101790 for Computers for District Clerk in the amount of $1,627.

D) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101820 for Court Appointed Attorneys and Court Appointed Attorney-Family including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Workers Comp for the 16th District Court in the amount of $69,275.

A) Discussion of a Denton County Employee Medical Insurance Survey.

4. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

5. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.-Facilities

C) Discussion of Urban Counties TechShare Master Interlocal Agreement, TechShare Resource Addendum-Juvenile Information System, appointment of Commissioner Sandy Jacobs to the JIS Oversight Board, Creation of JIS Task Force, Resolution-Commissioner Precinct 2-Information Services.

D) Discussion of an increase in Nextel service and equipment for emergency management and change of service provider and equipment for Health Department to Nextel.-Emergency Management/Health Department.

6. LEGAL

A) Discussion of: a) the Project for reconstruction of McMakin Road and improvements on bonnie Broome Road in the Town of Bartonville and b) the Interlocal Corporation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the Town of Bartonville for reconstruction of McMakin Road and improvements on Broome Road.

B) Discussion of scheduling a Public Hearing on the abandoning, vacating, moving or altering of right-of-way known as Elm Ridge Road for 9:30 am on August 31, 2004.

C) Discussion of the recommended budget, budget narrative, standard debarment form 2046 and risk assessment form 9105 for Denton County’s continued participation in the Title IV-E County Legal Services Contract #2003033424 with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services.

D) Discussion of Public Employee Benefits Cooperative (PEBC) contracts, including: 1) FlexBen Amendment, 2) MHN Amendment, 3) Safeguard Agreement, and 4) NCTCOG Interlocal.
