Mr. Scheible: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today on the day after Memorial Day when we memorialize those men and women who have fought and died for our country to give us the freedom that we enjoy here. During this freedom, Lord, we do have local government, and we ask that You would watch over those decisions that are made today. We lift up our President and Congress and all the elected officials in our nation. Grant them wisdom and direction in their lives, that the decisions that they make will honor You.
