1. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of award of bid for Medical Equipment and Supplies for Denton County Pre-Trial Center, Bid #04-04-1609, to Products Unlimited, Inc., for Section I, and the rejection of bids for Section II and Section III.

B) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Dental Equipment for Denton County Pre-Trial Center, Bid #05-04-1620.

C) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Alternative Dispute Resolution System, RFP #04-04-1614, appointment of Evaluation Committee.

D) Discussion of Contract Award Guidelines for Architectural, Engineering and Surveying Services including establishment of standing committees.

E) Discussion to declare miscellaneous network equipment as surplus and use as trade-in toward the purchase of upgraded network equipment.

F) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for HVAC Full Maintenance Service Agreement, Bid #05-04-1619.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101230 for Contract Labor for Economic Development in the amount of $2,000.

B) Discussion o f Budget Amendment Request #101240 for Substitute Court Reporter for 16th District Court in the amount of $14,152.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

4. SHERIFF

A) Discussion of Sheriff Lucas’ request for the Commissioners Court to approve the transfer of monies totaling $77.50 (plus any accrued interest) resulting from abandoned property forfeitures into the North Central Texas Narcotics Task Force Generated Program Income account currently held in a Denton County Treasurer’s Deferred Revenue account.

5. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.

6. LEGAL

A) Discussion of renewal of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Juvenile Pre-Adjudication Facility between Denton County and Palo Pinto County.

B) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Property Tax Collection between (1) Pilot Point Independent School District and Denton County, Texas and (2) Argyle Independent School District and Denton County, Texas.

C) Discussion of a) the Donation Deed, and b) the Permanent Drainage and Utility Easement Agreement, with all necessary exhibits between Denton County, Texas, and Philip and Deborah Pierce for the Bonnie Brae Road Project.

D) Discussion of (a) the Escrow Agreement in the amount of $140,067.39, by Valerian Properties Associates, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, for the Creek Village at Providence Subdivision and (b) the Final Plat for Creek Village at Providence Subdivision Precinct #1.

E) Discussion o f a) the Donation Deed, and b) the Permanent Drainage and Access Easement Agreement, with all necessary exhibits between Mont and Emrie Wilkes and Denton County, Texas, for the Bonnie Brae Road Project.

F) Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Domestic Animal Control Services between Denton County and the Town of Ponder.

G) Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Domestic Animal Control Services between Denton County and the Town of Northlake.

7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS AND MEETINGS

A) Commissioners Court will meet Friday, June 4, 2004, 9:00 am, for personnel, consent, payroll, and to pay the bills.

B) No Commissioners Court, Tuesday, June 8th.
