Citizens should complete a witness form located on the side table. Pursuant to State Open Meetings Law, the Commissioners Court is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on the agenda. Action on your statement can be taken only at a future meeting.
In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court may impose a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court. Please address all comments to the Presiding Officer.

A) Approval of purchase and installation of Air Conditioner units for the Lee Walker Government Center and the purchase and installation of software and controls for the Sandy Jacobs Government Center and the Colony Government Center from the Trane Company on The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCNP) in the amount of $98,927.00, and any appropriate action.
B) Approval of specifications and authority to advertise for Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus for the Denton County Pre-Trial Center, Bid #03-04-1607, and any appropriate action.
C) Approval of exemption from bidding for professional consulting services form Foresite Consulting, Inc. for the Bio-terrorism Volunteer Disaster Recruitment Program in compliance with the provisions of Section 262.024 (a)(4) of the Local Government Code, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Intra-Departmental Operating Transfers and any appropriate action.
B) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100800 for prior year purchase for various County Departments in the amount of $1,256,969, and any appropriate action.
C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100830 for Overtime-Cash Options for S.O. Mental Health Unit in the amount of $3,000, and any appropriate action.
D) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100840 for Out of County Prisoner Expense including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency for County Jail in the amount of $325,600, and any appropriate action.
E) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100850 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Operating Equipment for Sheriff’s Department in the amount of $5,500, and any appropriate action.
F) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100860 for Contract Labor for County Planning in the amount of $3,223, and any appropriate action.
* G) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100870 for Operating Supplies for Constable, Precinct #4 in the amount of $600, and any appropriate action.

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)
B) Approve an appointment to the Civil Service Commission to fill the current vacancy, and any appropriate action.

A) Approve any road and bridge differences between Ex-Officio Road Commissioners that need to be addressed by the Commissioners Court, and any appropriate action. Commissioner, Precinct #2
B) Approve internal procedures for the workings between the Ex-Officio Commissioners and central departments, and any appropriate action. Commissioner, Precinct #2
C) Approval of any appropriate action including all legal requirements to make any necessary changes to the Centralized Road & Bridge System versus the Ex-Officio Commissioners Road System. Commissioner, Precinct #2
D) Approval to ratify by Denton County Commissioners Court the decision of the Citizens Board of Appeals to DENY the request by Jancie May for a variance from Section XI, Subdivision Improvement Acceptance Procedure of the Denton County Subdivision Rules & Regulations for the depth of driveway culverts of lots 1, 6, 7, 9, 20, 23, 27, 28, 29 and 30 for the proposed Drop M Estates Addition, and any appropriate action.

C) Approval of (1) the termination of the Statement of Work for Services between Denton County, Texas and International Business Machines (IBM) dated October 21, 2003 and approval of (2) the Schedule for Services and the Statement of Work for Services between Denton County, Texas and International Business Machines (IBM), and any appropriate action.
D) Approval of the Standard Form of Agreement for Services between Denton County, Texas and Garnite Roofing Corporation for roofing repairs, and any appropriate action.
E) Approval of Supplement Agreement #8, to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and NTB Associates, Inc., for additional funding in the amount of $7,376.00 for a total contract amount of $212,094.00, for the US 377/Pilot Point Project, and any appropriate action.
