1. PURCHASING

A) Discussion for the use of excess 1993 Pre-Trail Funds and 1999 CO’s to purchase Dell equipment for the Telephone System Upgrade.

B) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Intersection Improvements-US Hwy. 380 at Jackson, Nail and Egan.

C) Discussion of renewal of bid for Transportation of Human Remains, Bid #12-01-1462, to Goen-Hudges Funeral Home, Inc.

D) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Pup Trailers, Bid #12-03-1590.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100410 to increase revenues, allocate funding and reallocate currently budgeted funds within various Juvenile Probation budget’s in the amount of $999,549.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100420 for Computer Software for County-Wide Technology in the amount of $390.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100430 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Vehicle Repairs and the creation of a new line item for Contract purposes for FY 2003-2004 for School Resource Officer in the amount of $483.

3. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of a Full-Time Nutrition Tech, 2 Full-Time Office Support Specialist II’s and 2 Full-Time Assistant WIC Clinical Professionals in the WIC Program.

4. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.

B) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

5. SHERIFF

A) Discussion of Sheriff Lucas request to the Denton County Commissioners Court to apply for continuing grant funding in the amount of $418,738 from the Office of the Governor-Criminal Justice Division for the North Central Texas Narcotics Task Force grant year 2004-2005, and issue a Commissioners Court Order and Resolution authorizing same.

B) Discussion of Sheriff Lucas’s requests of funding from Criminal Justice Division of the Governors Office of the State of Texas in the amount of $35,511 also requesting a resolution, court order.

6. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion of the possible revising of the list of organizations that are eligible to accept donations from juror’s pay with consideration given to the recommendation requested by Commissioners Court from the Social Services Committee.-District Clerk

C) Discussion of request from Spirithorse Therapeutic Riding Center and the Infant and Toddler Intervention Program to be included in the list of organizations that are allowed to receive juror pay donations.-District Clerk

D) Discussion of charging and additional filing fee up to $15.00 on suits for dissolution of marriages per HB 2292.-District Clerk

E) Discussion of requests from Friends of the Family and Spirithorse Therapeutic Riding Center to be included in the organizations that could receive disbursements from filing fees accrued pursuant to HB 2292.-District Clerk

7. LEGAL

A) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Library Services between Denton County and (a) the City of Sanger and (b) the Carrollton Public Library.

B) Discussion of the Service Agreement between Denton County, Texas and the Juvenile Diversionary Services of Denton, Inc.

C) Discussion of (a) the project and (b) the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the Town of Prosper for Road Maintenance of Parvin Road.

D) Discussion of a) the project and b) the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and the City of Corinth for Shady Shores Road.
