1. PURCHASING

A) Discussion to declare USR Corporation as the most qualified for the development of PS&E for FM 2499-Section 2 and the authority to negotiate a contract.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100060 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Educational Supplies for CHOS Museum in the amount of $1,100.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100080 for Pager Expense including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Regular Contingency for Constable, Precinct #2 in the amount of $65.

C) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100090 for Pager Expense including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Regular Contingency for License & Weight in the amount of $50.

D) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100100 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for various line items for CHOS Museum/Tourism Preservation Grant 2003 in the amount of $18,570.

E) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100110 to increase revenues and allocate expenditures for Vehicle Emissions Compliance Program for Non-Departmental in the amount of $635,306.

F) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100070 to transfer North Central Texas Narcotics Task Force Fund including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Regular Contingency for transfer from General Fund in the amount of $64,899.

3. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discussion of changes to the 2004 Holiday Schedule.

B) Discussion of Loss Control Committee Membership.

C) Discussion of Stop Loss Rates and Limit for 2004.

4. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.

B) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

5. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion of splitting or combining of Precincts to Comply with Sec. 42.032 Texas Election code.

D) Discussion of application for grant offered by the Governor’s Division of Emergency Management (for SERC) to provide funding for the Denton County Local Emergency Planning Committee for Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness-Fire Marshall.

6. LEGAL

A) Discussion of a) authorizing the County Judge to execute all necessary documents for the closing b) the Special Warranty Deed, Easement Amendment and Reciprocal Easement Agreement, and Replatting Agreement as amended, all between Arthur Rentals, Ltd., a Texas limited partnership and Denton County and c) directing the County Auditor to request a Warrant in the amount of $730,755.00, made payable to Land America Texas Title for the acquisition of the storage facility at 9070 Teasley Lane, Denton, Texas.

B) Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Denton County, Texas and Wise County, Texas, for regulation, approval, inspection, and issuing of applicable permits and approvals for the Shale Creek Subdivision.

C) Discussion of the Mylar title sheet between Denton County, Texas, and the Texas Department of Transportation for the project to install railroad warning devices at the crossing of Hopkins Road and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.
