1. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of award of bid for Tray Washer and Waste Equipment System, Bid #03-03-1546, to PASCO for $62,380.

B) Discussion of ranking Alliance Surveying as the most qualified firm for RFQ #03-03-1547, Surveying Services, authority to negotiate a contract.

C) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Charlie J. Cole Building, Security Renovation, Bid #05-03-1558.

2. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #101200 for Court Appointed Attorney Fees including the transfer of funds from Non-Departmental Unappropriated Contingency-Court Ordered Contingency for County Criminal Court #4 in the amount of $200,000.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.

B) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.

4. SHERIFF

A) Discussion to accept Grant Funding awarded to Denton County Sheriff's Office from the Office of the Governor-Criminal Justice Division to fund the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant "Juvenile Impact Program" and discussion of a resolution.

5. OTHER DEPARTMENTS

A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.

B) Discussion of 78th Legislative Session-County Judge

C) Discussion regarding the Confederate Monument water fountains-County Judge

6. LEGAL

A) Discussion of Amendment No. 7 to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and NTB Associates, Inc., for additional services and funding for the Bus. U.S. 377 Project.

B) Discussion of (1) Amendment to the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Coordinated Integrated Justice System with the Texas Conference of Urban Counties and (2) the Resolution appointing Mike Donnelly to serve on the Integrated Justice System Oversight Board.

C) Discussion of Amendment No. 2, to Contract No. 720056, between Denton County, Texas, and the Office if Rural Community Affairs.

M) September 9, 2003-Public Hearing on Proposed Budget for 2003-2004 at the Courthouse on the Square at 11:00 am

N) September 9, 2003-Public Meeting to Adopt 2003-2004 Budget and 2003 Tax Rate (The meeting to adopt the tax rate must be 3 to 14 days after tax rate public hearing and by September 1 or as soon after as practicable).

O) September 2, 2003-Public Hearing; schedule and announce meeting to adopt tax rate 3-14 days from this date (if applicable).
