A) Discussion of Application/Resolution to participate with TexStar, First Southwest Asset Management, Inc., as a local government investment pool as permitted by Public Funds Investment Act, Texas Government Code, Section 2256.016.
2. PURCHASING
A) Discussion to declare Asset #300337 surplus, authorize a Sealed Bid Sale #02-03-1540, advertising.
3. BUDGET
A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100550 for Computer Maintenance/Jury for Jury and Grand Jury in the amount of $650.
B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request #100590 for Contract Labor for Justice of the Peace, Precinct #1 in the amount of $14,379.
4. HUMAN RESOURCES
A) Discussion of establishing a committee to study the need for and possibly develop a Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) program for the placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in County Facilities.
5. PUBLIC WORKS
A) Discussion regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.B) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects: Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program, and the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan, and updates related to the Denton County Transportation Authority.
C) Discussion to accept Metal Beam Guard Fence from the Texas Department of Transportation.

6. SHERIFF
A) Discussion from Sheriff Lucas to apply for grant funding from the Office of the United States Attorney Eastern District of Texas to fund the Safe Neighborhoods by Combating Gun Violence Project, in the amount of $77,548.00 no cash match required for this grant
7. OTHER DEPARTMENTS
A) Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees.
B) Discussion of 78th Legislative Session-County Judge.
C) Discussion regarding the Confederate Monument water fountains-County Judge.
D) Discussion of Building Usage Request by the American Red Cross-Dallas Area Chapter to use the parking lot at the Selby House on Saturday, March 8, 2003, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for the purpose of County Wide Emergency Vehicle "Open House", display of City, County, and Agency Vehicles-Aide-to-the-Court.
E) Discussion of change order #1 (NVSCC04) with Net Versant for Access Control System-Information Services.
F) Discussion of Proclamation proclaiming March 2-8, 2003 to be Severe Weather Awareness Week-Fire Marshall.
8. LEGAL
A) Discussion of the Service Agreement between Denton County and the Denton County Soil and Water Conservation District.
B) Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Fore Protection Services between Denton County and the Town of Little Elm.
C) Discussion of Amendment No. 6 to the Contract between Denton County, Texas, and NTB Associates, Inc., for additional funding in the amount of $7,682.00, for a total contract amount of $189,586.00, for the Bus. U.S. 377 Project.
D) Discussion of the Standard Form of Agreement for Services between Denton County, Texas and Richmond Communications Group, Inc.
E) Discussion of Road Construction and Reimbursement Agreement between Denton County, Texas, and Matthews Southwest, Inc., for the Boyd Road Project.
