December 11, 2001

Be it remembered, Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas was called to order at 7:02 PM on the 11th day of December, 2001 by Judge Scott Armey. Commissioners Sandy Jacobs, Jim Carter, Bobbie J. Mitchell and Cynthia White were present, along with deputy clerk Kathleen Bransford.

Court opened with an Invocation by Carrie Abney of the Sanger 4-H Club, followed by the Pledges of Allegiance to American and Texas Flags led by Adam Beck of the Bluebonnet 4-H Club in Lewisville, Texas.

Ms. Abney: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before Thee at this time with grateful hearts and humble acknowledgements of all Thy Goodness. We thank Thee for the privilege of being together here, being near to each one of us. Give us the aid of Thy Holy Spirit to guide us. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

ITEM 1 PUBLIC INPUT

Dr. Howard Smith, Chairman of the Denton County Historical Commission, asked the court to recognize and honor Jim Heath for all of his many accomplishments.

7.A) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100260 for Computers and Office Supplies for County Auditor in the amount of $2,276. (Briefing 12-4-01)
