Be it remembered, Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas, met this 9th day of November, 2001, with Judge Scott Armey presiding. Commissioner White was present along with Director of Elections, Don Alexander, Criminal District Attorney, Carmen Rivera-Worley, Chief of Civil Division, and deputy clerk Kathleen Bransford.

ITEM

Approve the Results for the November 6, 2001 State of Texas Constitutional Amendment Election and the Special Election Texas Senate District 30.

Don Alexander, Director of Elections, read into the record the total ballots cast for Propositions 1 through 19, the results of the Special Election for Senate District 30 and the write-in votes for all 125 precincts in Denton County.

Move to approve an Order canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the State Constitutional Amendment Election and the Special Election Senate District 30 held November 6, 2001 by Comm. White, second by Judge Armey.
