A) Discussion of exemption from bidding process for a Sole Source purchase of radios from Motorola Communications and Electronics, Inc. in compliance with Section 262.024 (a)(7)(A) and (D) of the Local Government Code.

B) Discussion of ranking Huitt-Zollars, Inc. as the most qualified firm for engineering services for the Bridge Replacement Program-BRINSAP, RFQ #05-01-1424, authorize negotiations.

C) Discussion of award of bid for Lubricants and Oils, Bid #07-01-1439 to Jesse P. Taylor for items #2, 3, 4 and 7, Reeder Dist. For item #6 and Knight Co. Oil for items 1 and 5.

C) Discussion of combining the job description for the Court Administrators (District Courts) and the job description for the Court Administrator (District Court Administration) into one job description.

E) Discussion of the employer contribution rate and annually determined contribution plan options for 2002-Texas County and District Retirement System.

3. PUBLIC WORKS

A) Discussion of action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to Denton County Building Projects.

B) Discussion regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed County and State transportation Projects: Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program, and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan.

E) Discussion of Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 9:15 a.m. as date and time to conduct a PUBLIC HEARING to consider a request for a Special Use Permit as required by the Lake Ray Roberts Land Use Ordinance, requested by Tina Koenig and recommended by the Lake Ray Roberts Planning and Zoning Commission and the Lakeview Ranchettes Homeowners Association.

F) Discussion of Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 9:10 a.m. as date and time to conduct a PUBLIC HEARING to consider a request for a Special Use Permit as required by the Lake Ray Roberts Land Use Ordinance, requested by Charles Pollack and Donna Clark and recommended by the Lake Ray Roberts Planning and Zoning Commission and the Lakeview Ranchettes Homeowners Association.

G) Discussion of Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 9:05 a.m. as date and time to conduct a PUBLIC HEARING to consider an amendment to the Lake Ray Roberts Land Use Ordinance as requested by the Lake Ray Roberts Planning and Zoning Commission and the Lakeview Ranchettes Homeowners Association.

4. SHERIFF

A) Discussion of a Denton County Magistrate Agreement contract.

B) Discussion of Potential Change Order #98 to provide $3,356.00 additional funding to the Site Utilities Contract for Wright Construction Company, Inc. to remove 18" Reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and install 15" RCP on the Northwest Side of the Pretrial Center.

C) Discussion of Potential Change Order #89 to provide $8,537.00 additional funding to the Painting Contract for Wright Painting and Coating to provide acoustical wall covering in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Pre-Trial Center.

D) Discussion of Potential Change Order #115 to provide $25,711.00 additional funding to the electrical trade contract of Boggs Electric Company, Inc.to install additional components to the alarm system per requests from the City of Denton.

E) Discussion of request by Highland Village for Installation of Sanitary Sewer in County right-of-way for FM 2499-County Judge.
