* B) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #101680 for Computer Software and the creation of a new line item for county purposes for FY 2000-2001 for Centralized Road and Bridge in the amount of $5,920. (Briefing 06-26-01)

* C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #101660 for various line items for Print/Mail Department in the amount of $1,936.

8. HUMAN RESOURCES

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (Appointments have been posted and advertised. Interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary constraints.)

B) Approve authorization to sign the Paying Agent Authorization Letter and the Facsimile Signature From for the Denton County Benefit Plan.

A) Approval of revision to contract with Tarrant County for HIV Services.

10. PUBLIC WORKS
A) Approval of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress, and change orders to Denton County Building Projects - Commissioners Court.

B) Approval of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects; Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program; and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

* A) Approval of the minutes for June 19, 2001, Formal Session.

12. SHERIFF

A) Approval of Change Order to cover costs of moving simulcast site form Southlake to Grapevine and upgrading equipment that had been in storage. (Briefing 06-26-01)

A) Approval of any action regarding Denton County boards and committees - Commissioners Court.

B) Approval of Denton County Redistricting 2001:

1) Splitting and Realigning Voter Precincts,

4) 2001 Redistricting Committee - County Judge.

* C) Approval of the appointment of Beth V. Stribling to the Denton County Historical Commission - Aide-to-the-Court. (Briefing 06-26-01)

D) Approval of a Resolution of the County of Denton, Texas to oppose Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission's Issuance of Air Quality Permit No. 4778 to Puppyluv enterprise of Texas, Inc., 2001 Hickory Hill, Argyle, Denton County, Texas, 76226, which would authorize construction of a Crawford C500P animal Crematory at the above address - Commissioner Precinct #4.

A) Any appropriate action on Executive Session matters - Legal Department.

* B) Approval of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Tax Collection between Denton County and the Denton County Fresh Water Supply District No. 6. (Briefing 06-26-01)

C) Discussion regarding Denton County's obligations regarding the Juvenile alternative Education Program, and the opinion by the District Attorney's Civil Division, dated June 6, 2001, and any appropriate action.

The Commissioners Court reserves the exercise of its discretion and may convene in executive session as authorized by the Texas Government Code §§551.071, et seq. on any of the agenda items previously listed.
