Be it remembered that Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas, met on this the 19th day of December, 2000, with Judge Scott Armey presiding. Commissioners Jeff Krueger, Sandy Jacobs, Bobbie J. Mitchell and Jim Carter were present, along with deputy clerk Kathleen Bransford, when the following proceedings were had, to wit:
Court opened with an Invocation by Morgan Polster, daughter of John and Lisa Polster, and was followed by the Pledges of Allegiance to the American Flag and the Texas Flag led by Tatum DeBerry, daughter of Tye DeBerry, and Cash Krueger, son of Commissioner Jeff Krueger.
Ms. Polster: Dear Jesus, thank You for the day. Thank You for loving us. Thank You for Christmas and please bless this country. Make our leaders smart. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
ITEM 2 PUBLIC INPUT
Sandy Thurman, Executive Director of Child Protective Services thanked the members of the court and Dr. Burton, Director of the Health Dept., for all their support of the children in the county.
Comm. Krueger presented a T-shirt to the reporter for the Denton Record Chronicle.
