1. CALL TO ORDER

Citizens should complete a witness form located on the side table. Pursuant to State Open Meetings Law, the Commissioners Court is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on the agenda. Action on your statement can be taken only at a future meeting.

In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court has imposed a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court.

4. COUNTY AUDITOR

A) Approval of Bill Report.
(Payments from Adult Probation, Community Corrections, Pre-Trial Services and District Attorney Check Fee Fund are presented for recording purposes only.)

B) Approve an Order authorizing the issuance of "DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS TAX NOTES, SERIES 2000A (STATE HIGHWAY 121)", specifying the terms and features of said notes; levying a continuing direct annual ad valorem tax for the payment of said notes; and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, payment and delivery of said notes, including the approval and execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement; and providing an effective date - County Judge.

C) Approve an Order authorizing the issuance of "DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS TAX NOTES, SERIES 2000"; specifying the terms and features of said notes; levying a continuing direct annual ad valorem tax for the payment of said notes; and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, payment and delivery of said notes, including the approval and execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement, a Purchase Contract and the approval of distribution of a Preliminary Official Statement and an Official Statement; and providing an effective date - County Judge.

D) Approve an Order authorizing the issuance of "DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS, PERMANENT IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 2000"; specifying the terms and features of said notes; levying a continuing direct annual ad valorem tax for the payment of said bonds; and resolving other matters incident and related to the issuance, sale, payment and delivery of said bonds, including the approval and execution of a Paying Agent/Registrar Agreement and a Purchase Contract and the approval and distribution of an Official Statement - County Judge.

5. TREASURER

* A) Approval of Payroll.

6. BUDGET

A) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100360 for Telephone Service for Telephone Department in the amount of $210 - County Judge.

B) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #100390 for Contract Labor for District Attorney Civil Division in the amount of $1,900 - County Judge.

7. HUMAN RESOURCE

* A) Approval of Order Making Appointments. (The appointments for December 5, 2000, have been posted and advertised; and interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the budgetary restraints.)

B) Approve reclassification of an Outreach Coordinator position (slot 001-CP), Public Health/CHIP Outreach Grant - County Judge.

C) Approve a new Deputy Sheriff (Warrants Division) position, grade 21, Sheriff's Department - County Judge.

8. COUNTY CLERK

* A) Approve the minutes for November, 14, 2000, Formal Session.

9. STANDING ITEMS

A) Approval of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress, and change orders to Denton County Building Projects - Commissioners Court.

B) Approval of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects; Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program; and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

C) Approval of any action regarding Denton County boards and committees - Commissioners Court.

D) Approval of any action regarding the 77th Legislative Session - Commissioners Court.

E) Discuss and review of the projects that are being recommended for Certificates of Obligation or Tax Notes, including and not limited to JJAEP, Master Plan, 4th floor of the New Courts Building, Food Lion Building and any appropriate action - Commissioners Court.

10. NON-DEPARTMENTAL

A) Approval of Denton County Agricultural Extension Service's Annual Program Report - County Judge.

11. LEGAL

A) Any appropriate action on Executive Session matters - Legal Department.

B) Approval of License for the widening of Litsey Road between Denton County, Texas and U.S. Department of the Army, Corp of Engineers - County Judge.

C) Approval of Easement for Public Street or Road for the widening of Litsey Road between Denton County, Texas and U. S. Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers - County Judge.
