Be it remembered that Commissioners Court of Denton County, Texas met on this the 12th day of September, 2000 with Judge Kirk Wilson presiding. Commissioners Jeff Krueger, Jim Carter, Scott Armey & Sandy Jacobs were present, along with deputy clerk Kathleen Bransford, when the following proceedings were had, to wit:

Court opened with the Invocation by Bob Schell, Assistant District Attorney, Civil Division, and was followed by the Pledges of Allegiance to the American flag and the Texas flag led by Jimmie Van, Administrative Chief for the Mayhill-Cooper Creek Volunteer Fire Department.

Bob Schell: Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we thank You for this day. We thank You for this opportunity to serve You and Your Son. We ask that, by His example, You show us the way in which to serve. We ask that You bless this Commissioners Court. Give them strength, wisdom, courage to make the decisions which they are faced with today. We also ask You to send rain to bless our parched earth. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

ITEM 2 PUBLIC INPUT

Jimmie Van, Administrative Chief for the Mayhill-Cooper Creek Volunteer Fire Department, invited everyone to the "housing" of their new fire truck on Friday, September 15, 2000 at 6:30 p.m.
