1.    PURCHASING

A)    Discussion of Exemption from Bidding for a Sole Source purchase of Jury + Next Generation Software from Jury Systems, Inc. according to the provisions of Section 262.024(a)(7)(A) of the Local Government Code and any appropriate action – County Judge.

B)    Discussion for Exemption from Bidding for a Sole Source purchase of seven Optec III-P Eagles Voting Machines from Election Systems & Software, Inc. acording to the provisions of Section 262.024(a)(7)(A) & (D) of the Local Government Code and any appropriate action – County Judge.

 2.    BUDGET

A)    Discussion of Budget Amendment Request for computer supplies, CHOS Museum Tourism/Preservation Grant 2000 – County Judge.

3.    HUMAN RESOURCES

A)    Discussion of reappointment of Commissioner Jeff Krueger, Sheriff Weldon Lucas, and Tax Assessor/Collector Mary Horn to the Denton County Civil Service Commission – County Judge.

4.    COUNTY CLERK

A)    Discussion of minutes for January 4, 2000, formal session – County Judge.

5.    COUNTY PLANNING

A)    Discussion of Final Plat for six lots in Sunset Lake Estates, Phase I, Prct. 1 – County Judge.

6.    STANDING ITEMS

A)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff’s Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Courts Building, Denton County Annexes, and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects; Denton County’s Better  Safer Roads Program, and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court. 

C)    Discussion of Denton County boards and committees - Commissioners Court.

D)    Discussion of ongoing Economic Development projects - County Judge.

7.    NON-DEPARTMENTAL

A)    Discussion of the End –of-Year Report for the Denton County Historical Commission – County Judge.

B)    Discussion for legal services for various right-of-way issues associated with the Better, Safer Roads Program, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

C)      Discussion of Denton County Entering into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with the cities of The Colony, Carrollton, Lewisville, Coppell, and Grapevine regarding improvements to State Highway 121, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

D)    Discussion of the solicitation of bids for the creation of a Texas Historic Courthouse Master Plan for the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square – County Judge.

8.    LEGAL

A)    Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Library Services between Denton County and the Town of Flower Mound – County Judge.
