1.    PURCHASING

A)    Discussion of purchase of mini-blinds from Bond Funds for the Carroll, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

B)    Discussion of award of bid for Removal and Abatement of Abandoned Concrete Pipe Containing Approval of award of Bid #11-99-1266, to ICE Contractors, Inc. for $14,969.00, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

C)    Discussion of award of bid for a Hot Mix Paver, Bid #10-99-1260, to Hi-Way Equipment Co. for $184,974, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

D)    Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Juror Summons, Preparation and Mailing Services, RFP #11-99-1264, and any appropriate action – County Judge.

A)    Discussion of Budget Amendment Request for New Instruments – Telephone Department/Constable Precinct #6 – County Judge.

5.    CENTRALIZED ROAD & BRIDGE/VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

A)    DISCUSSION OF TXDOT’S OFF THE STATE SYSTEM BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT ON LITSEY, TIM DONALD, BLAIR, HULING AND BELZ ROADS AND ANY APPROPRIATE ACTION – County Judge.

6.    STANDING ITEMS

A)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff’s Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Courts Building, Denton County Annexes, and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned, and proposed county and state transportation projects; Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program, and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

C)    Discussion of Denton County boards and committees - Commissioners Court.

D)    Discussion of ongoing Economic Development projects - County Judge.

7.    NON-DEPARTMENTAL
A)    Discussion of a luncheon gathering among the Denton County Commissioners Court members and the Denton County Justice of the Peace, Tuesday, January 18, 2000, commencing at noon, at the Greenhouse Restaurant, 600 North Locust – Commissioner Precinct #4.

B)    Discussion of the solicitation of bids for the sale 43.374 acres out of Abstract 1153, V.R. Sutton Survey, Track 3, in the City of Lewisville, Texas, in order to recoup delinquent property taxes and accrued penalty and interest – County Judge.

C)    Discussion of Denton County Building Usage Policy – Commissioner Precinct #3.

D)    Discuss the use of the first-floor restrooms, Commissioners Courtroom, and the Lawn of the Courthouse-on-the-Square on Saturday, May 6, 2000, from 4:00 p.m., for the wedding of Gayle Standifer – County Judge.

E)    Discuss the use of the Commissioners Courtroom on Thursday, January 20, 2000, from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., for a meeting on the Denton County Democratic Executive Committee – County Judge.

8.    LEGAL

A)    Discuss Release of All Claims with United Rentals, Inc. – County Judge.

B)    Discuss Boat Stall Lease Agreement – County Judge.

C)    Discussion of 1) acceptance of a gift of three museum display cases from the University of North Texas to Denton County and 2) Ratification of the Certification of Transfer of Property to a Political Subdivision – County Judge.

D)    Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Library Services between Denton County and the City of Denton – County Judge.

E)    Discussion of Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Library Services between Denton County and the City of Sanger – County Judge.

F)    Discussion of the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Fire Protection between Denton County and the City of Sanger – County Judge.
