8.    LEGAL

F)    Discuss Notice of Intention to Issue Denton County, Texas Certificates of Obligation on December 7, 1999 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom to approve the passage of an order authorizing the issuance of certificates of obligation in an amount not to exceed $13,290,000 for the purpose of paying contractual obligations to be incurred for (I) constructing and equipping county jail facilities, (ii) improving and renovating a county-owned building, to wit: the Denton County Courts Building; and (iii) professional services rendered in relation to such projects and the financing thereof, such certificates to be payable from ad valorem taxes, pursuant to the provisions of the laws of the State of Texas, including V.T.C.A., Local Government Code, Subchapter C of Chapter 271- County Judge.

B)    Discussion of a luncheon gathering between the Denton County Commissioners Court Members and the Denton County District Court Judges, Tuesday, November 16, 1999, commencing at Noon, at the Greenhouse Restaurant, 600 N. Locust – County Judge.
