B)    Discuss specifications and authority to advertise for Detention Supplies, Bid #07-99-1237 – County Judge.

C)    Discuss specifications and authority to advertise for Furniture for the Carroll Building, Bid #07-99-1241 – County Judge.

D)    Discuss specifications and authority to advertise for Law Enforcement Center Data Cabling, RFP #08-99-1242 – County Judge.

2.    BUDGET

A)    Discuss Budget Amendment Request for Vehicle Repairs for Constable, Precinct One – County Judge.

B)    Discuss Budget Amendment Request for various line items for Centralized Road and Bridge – County Judge.

C)    Discuss Budget Amendment Request for Personnel Advertisements for Human Resources – County Judge.

D)    Discuss Budget Amendment Request for various line items for the Purchasing Department – County Judge.

A)    Discuss a Resolution requesting continued grant funding for the Denton County Underage Drinking C.O.M.B.A.T. Team as submitted by Sheriff Lucas to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Division – County Judge.

5.    BOARDS & COMMITTEES

A)    Discussion of reappointment of Don Blackwood to represent Denton County on the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) Commissioner, Precinct Two.

6.    STANDING ITEMS

A)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff's Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Courts Building, Denton County Annexes, and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned and proposed county and state transportation projects; Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program; and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

C)    Discussion of ongoing Economic Development projects - County Judge.

D)    Discussion of Denton County Boards and Committees - Commissioners Court.

A)    Discuss Commissioners Court Meetings Policy and Procedures and the minutes of Commissioners Court – Commissioners Court

B)    Discuss Denton County Court-appointed Attorneys – Commissioners Court.

C)    Discuss a grant to the Boys and Girls Club of Denton County for $35,000.00 and to Pedi Place for $35,000.00 from unappropriated contingency funds – Commissioner, Precinct One.

D)    Discuss the purchase in the amount of up to $950 for a Denton County table at the North Texas Transportation Conference conducted by the City of Irving, Texas – County Judge.

E)    Discuss use of Commissioners Courtroom on Saturday, August 21, 1999, from 2:30 p.m. until
4 p.m. for a wedding ceremony – County Judge.

A)    Discuss the Contract for Fire Protection Services between Denton County and the Mayhill-Cooper Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. – County Judge.

B)    Discuss a Resolution supporting Denton County’s acceptance of the Child Abuse Prosecution Grant – County Judge.

C)    Discuss a Resolution supporting Denton County’s acceptance of the Serious and Habitual Juvenile Prosecutor Grant – County Judge.

D)    Discuss an Engineering Contract between Denton County and Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc., for improvements to Crawford Road – County Judge.

E)    Discuss an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Tax Collection between Denton County and the Ponder Independent School District – County Judge.

F)    Discuss an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for Tax Collection between Denton County and the Town of Marshall Creek – County Judge.
