A)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff's Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Courts Building, Denton County Annexes, and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B)    Discussion of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned; and proposed County and State Transportation projects; Denton County's Better Safer Roads Program; and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

C)    Discussion of ongoing Economic Development projects - County Judge.

9.    NON-DEPARTMENTAL

B)    Brief Commissioners Court on the City of Denton’s Blue Ribbon Capital Improvement Program – Commissioner, Precinct One.

C)    Discuss the Veterans Program after a presentation by Mr. Hank Schieble of the Veterans Services Office – County Judge.

D)    Discuss a contract for professional services between Denton County and Allison, Bass and Associates, L.L.P., for legal representation to ensure maximum participation by Denton County in the public-health reimbursement to be distributed from the Permanent Trust Account under the terms of the Settlement Agreement in The State of Texas v. The American Tobacco Company, et al. – County Judge.

E)    Discuss accepting the gift of a complete set of Law Books (CCH U.S. Tax Cases – 1960 to Present) from Tandy Corporation – County Judge.

F)    Discuss a resolution supporting the City of Highland Village Inland Trail Project and their submission of a nomination for the Statewide Transportation Enhancement Program – Commissioner, Precinct Three.

G)    Discuss a one-time grant of $25,000.00 to Mayhill-Cooper Creek Fire Department for emergency funding – Commissioner, Precinct One.

H)    Discuss a request for allocation of unclaimed money received by the State Comptroller from electric cooperatives to Denton County Commissioner Court – County Judge.

I)    Discuss use of the 1896 Room on Saturday, July 31, 1999 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for a volunteer and leader’s meeting of the Camp Fire Boys and Girls – County Judge.

J)    Discuss use of The Colony Government Center from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the first, second, and third Mondays and Wednesdays of August, October, November and December, as well as the third and fourth Monday and Wednesday of September, for meetings of the Greater Dallas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (GDCADA) – County Judge.

K)    Discuss use of The Colony Government Center from 6:45 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of August, September, October, November, and December 1999 for meetings of The Colony Amateur Radio Club – County Judge.

10.    LEGAL

A)    Discuss Advance Funding Agreement for an On-System Project between the State of Texas and Denton County, Texas – County Judge.
