Citizens should complete a Witness Form located on the side table. Pursuant to State Open Meetings Law the Commissioners Court is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on Agenda. Action on your statement can only be taken at a future meeting.

In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak the Commissioners Court has imposed a three-minute limitation on persons addressing the Court.

* B) Approval of the following: (1) Excess funds in the amount of $72,232 are available in the 1992 Road Bond Fund from the Bridges, Precinct 1 Project; (2) The excess funds are not needed to fund any of the projects originally listed in the bond documentation; and (3) that excess funds in the amount of $72,232 are to be allocated to the Geesling Road Improvement Project – County Judge. * A) Approve award of bid for Hot Mix Asphaltic Concrete, Bid #03-99-1204, to Marock, Inc., for $19.95 per ton Origin and $23.10 per ton Destination, and any appropriate action – County Judge. (Briefing 6-01-99)

* A) Approval of Budget Amendment Request #101630 for Office Furniture and Office Supplies and the creation of a new line item for county purposes for FY 1998-99 for CPS in the amount of $2,600 – County Judge. (Briefing 6-01-99)

* A) Approval of orders appointing New Employees. (The appointments for June 8, 1999, have been posted and advertised; and interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County Policies adopted by the Commissioners Court, except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. * A) Approve Application For Funding Assistance for Purchases to be made under the Federal Bulletproof Vest Partnership Act Grant, and authorize the County Judge to endorse such application as required by the U.S. Department of Justice – County Judge. (Briefing 6-01-99)

* A) Approve June 22, 1999 at 9:10 A.M. as date and time to conduct a Public Hearing to consider and approve the Rezoning of Tract 2, Abstract 1066 as recommended by the Lake Ray Roberts Planning and Zoning Commission – County Judge. (Briefing 6-01-99)

A) Approval of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff’s Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Annexes and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B) Approval of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned and proposed County and State Transportation projects, Denton County’s Better Safer Roads Program and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.
