1. AUDITOR

A) Discussion of Request to Reallocate 1992 Road Bond Funds totaling $35,840 to the Town of Bartonville Road Improvement Project - County Judge.

2. PURCHASING

A) Discussion of donation of judge's gavel and Denton County flag to former County Judge Jeff Moseley - County Judge.

B) Discussion of selecting Huber, Hunt & Nichols, Inc. As the most qualified firm for Construction Management Services for the Barracks, Pre-trial Center, Kitchen Remodeling and the Law Enforcement Center, and any appropriate action - County Judge.

C) Discussion of specifications and authority to advertise for Tires and Tubes (Trucks and heavy Equipment), Bid #04-99-1207 - County Judge.

3. BUDGET

A) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request for Computers - County Criminal Court #1 - County Judge.

B) Discussion of Budget Amendment Request for Operating Equipment and the creation of new line items for county purposes for FY 1998-99 - Metro Alien Task Force Grant - Criminal District Attorney - County Judge.

C) Approval of Budget Amendment Request for Operating Equipment - Constable, Precinct #5 - County Judge.

D) Approval of Budget Amendment Request for Computers - Human Resources - County Judge.

4. HUMAN RESOURCES

A) Discuss and approve changing 2 part-time Budget Analyst positions into 1 full-time and 1 part-time Budget Analyst position - County Judge.

B) Discuss any appropriate action to approve revision of the Deputy Sheriff job description - County Judge.

C) Discuss the upgrade of a vacant Communications Officer Slot (#023-CM), grade 21, to a Corporal/Communications, grade 22 - County Judge.

D) Discuss the upgrade of two Sheriff's Deputy, grade 21 postings, to Sheriff's Deputy/Boat Patrol, grade 22 positions - County Judge.

5. HEALTH

A) Discussion of contract amendment with Texas Department of Health regarding FY98 Population-Based Services grant - County Judge..

6. CENTRALIZED ROAD & BRIDGE/VEHICLE MAINTENANCE

A) Discuss Gibson and Associates making the necessary repairs on several bridges - County Judge. (Formal & Briefing 4-20-99)

7. COUNTY PLANNING

A) Discussion of request to re-name a county road from Indian Paint road to Indian Paint Trail, Precinct #1 - County Judge.

8. STANDING ITEMS

A) Discussion of any appropriate action regarding project development, construction progress and change orders to ongoing Denton County Projects: Sheriff's Office/Jail, Centralized Road & Bridge, Carroll Building, Denton County Annex's and future Denton County Satellite Facilities - Commissioners Court.

B) Discussion of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned and proposed County and State Transportation projects, Denton County's Better, Safer Roads Program and any action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.

C) Discussion of ongoing Economic Development projects and any appropriate action - County Judge.

D) Discussion of Denton County Boards & Committees - Commissioners Court.

E) Discussion of any action regarding 76th Legislative Issues - Commissioners Court.

F) Discuss the splitting of voter precincts in accordance with Election Code Section 42.006 and 42.031 - Commissioners Court.

9. NON-DEPARTMENTAL

A) Discussion regarding a Proclamation declaring May 10-16, 1999 as AGrace Corrigan Week@ - Commissioner, Precinct #3.

B) Acknowledgment and public recording of 16 continuing education credit hours to be credited for 1998 in accordance with Section 81.0025 of the Texas Local Government Code for Scott Armey, Commissioner, Precinct 3 - Commissioner, Precinct #3.

C) Discussion regarding the creation of a Records Management ADisaster Recovery Plan@ and a Records Recovery Committee - Commissioner, Precinct #3.

D) Discuss the use of Commissioners Courtroom on Thursday, May 20, 1999 from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. for a meeting of the Historical Society of Denton County - County Judge.

E) Discussion of five Reserve Deputy Slots for Precinct 7 Constable - County Judge.

F) Discuss Employee Compensation using funds budgeted for yr. 1998-99 that will not be expended during the budget year; to be divided among three staff members - County Judge.
