Citizens should complete a Witness Form located on the side table. Pursuant to State Open Meetings Law the Commissioners Court is restricted in discussing or taking action on items not posted on Agenda. Action on your statement can only be taken at a future meeting.
In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all citizens the opportunity to speak, the Commissioners Court has imposed a three minute limitation on persons addressing the Court.

* A) Approval of orders appointing New Employees. (The appointments for February 25, 1999 have been posted, advertised, and interviews were conducted as set forth in the Denton County Policies adopted by the Commissioners Court except as otherwise stated in the appointment orders. These appointments are within the Budgetary Restraints.)
* B) Approve revision of Policy #3.1 - Attendance - County Judge. (Briefing 2-16-99)
* C) Approve adoption of the Nepotism Policy - County Judge. (Briefing 2-16-99)
D) Approve revision to Denton County Personnel Policy #3.4B as recommended by the Denton County Personnel PolicyCommittee - Commissioner, Precinct #3. (Formal & Briefing 2-16-99)
6. COUNTY CLERK

8. STANDING ITEMS* A) Approve Final Plat for Tieszen Estates, Precinct 4 - County Judge. (Briefing 2-16-99)
9. NON-DEPARTMENTALA) Approval of any appropriate action regarding ongoing, planned and proposed County and State Transportation projects, Denton County's Better, Safer Roads Program and any necessary action regarding the modification of the Denton County Master Thoroughfare Plan - Commissioners Court.
B) Approval of any action regarding the 76th Legislative Issues - Commissioners Court.

RECESS* A) Approve use of The Colony Government Center on the first floor Monday and first Wednesday of each month form 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for a meeting of the Greater Dallas Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse; this request is for Monday, March 1 and Wednesday March 3, 1999 - County Judge. * B) Approve use of a meeting room in The Colony Government Center for every second Wednesday of the month from 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for mediation of JP cases from Judge Hollifield and similar cases by the Multi-Door Dispute Resolution, Inc.; this request is for Wednesday, March 10, 199 - County Judge.
