A)Consider approval of the changes for indigent legal services as recommended by the Privatization

Committee in order to streamline and modify the county’s Criminal Justice System as follows (Commissioner, Precinct #2):

a) Approve the proposal by our existing consultants (TSG) to modify the county’s Criminal Computer Justice system by improving court appointed attorney management, automated court assignments, and registration of probable cause warrants, in the amount of $69,825.

b) Connect the magistrates with the county’s Criminal Computer Justice system to enhance the existing system.

c) Standardize the criteria for the use of court appointed attorneys to recommend to Judges.

d) Approve the new pre-indictment case management proposal to reduce the unnecessary number of jail days for pre-trial prisoners.
