THE DENTON COUNTY BAIL BOND BOARD SHALL MEET IN REGULAR SESSION AT
THE PRE-TRIAL FACILITY, 1406 TROY H. LAGRONE DRIVE, DENTON, TEXAS, IN
THE COURTROOM, TO CONSIDER AND POSSIBLY TAKE ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING
MATTERS:
I. CALL TO ORDER & ATTENDANCE VERIFICATION
II. PUBLIC INPUT FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ON THE AGENDA
Citizens should complete a witness form located on the
side table. Pursuant to state open meetings law the Denton County Bail
Bond Board is restricted in discussion or taking action on items not
posted on the agenda. Action on your statement can only be taken at a
future meeting.
In order to expedite the flow of business and to provide all
citizens the opportunity to speak, the chairman may impose a
five-minute limit on any person addressing the Denton County Bail Bond
Board.
III. REPORTS AND MINUTES
A. Outstanding bond report and rearrest fee report by Capt.
R.L.(Bob) Powell. (consent)
B. NISI report by County & District Clerks. (consent)
C. Report including bonding companies, total bonding power, license
number and expiration date. (consent)
D. Monthly report from bond forfeiture attorney regarding bond
forfeiture collections.
E. Discussion and approval of minutes from the regular meeting of
February 26, 2004.
IV. POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
A. Discussion and any possible action regarding the annual election
of the Chair for the Denton County Bail Bond Board.
V. APPLICATIONS AND HEARINGS
A. Discussion and any possible action regarding the new application
from Financial Casualty & Surety, Inc., d/b/a 20-Minute Bail Bonds,
Agent Cason Clayton Cagle.
VI. EXECUTIVE SESSION
For purposes permitted by Texas Government Code section 551.07 -
contemplated or pending litigation or settlement offer; section 551.072
- Real Property; section 551.074 - Personnel matters; or section 551.76
- security.
A. Consultation with attorney concerning litigation with Farmers &
Merchants State Bank of Krum and any appropriate action.
B. Consultation with attorney regarding Amwest Surety Insurance
Company and any possible action.
